Great Show - Wish Backstreet Boys Was Headliner
I initially bought my ticket for the Backstreet Boys because I grew up with them and have always been a fan. They certainly have not missed a beat in the 20+ years. Once they release dates for their next tour, I'm definitely snagging those! They had the entire place rocking (even those who didn't grow up with them). We were all left wanting more than the 7 or 8 songs they performed.
I did not know anything by the first few opening bands so I cannot review them accurately. Moving along, I always enjoy attending shows where you can see multiple artists. I came in right before Zedd took the stage. I've never seen him live and I was impressed by his stage presence. I felt like I was in a large club dancing with hundreds of strangers. He was great!
Last to perform were Kehlani. No offense to these guys but Backstreet Boys should have closed the show. I think many of my neighbors also felt the same way. Plus, their sound appeared off. Maybe it was because it was late but I just wasn't too impressed with them. Maybe I should give them another chance in the future. I understand their popularity isn't what it used to be but Kehlani didn't seem to light up the crowd like BSB or even Zedd did. I know their music and heard a few songs that I knew.
